Hat Tip (as they say in the blogging world) to Valleys Mam for reminding us that luxury items, such as antiques, private education, private health, helicopters etc., have a different level of VAT to those of other goods. With VAT set to increase to 20% the difference will be that much more stark.
Once again the rich get to keep their wealth and contribute less to the well-being of society, while the rest of us have to pay more to bail out their mistakes.
For how long are we going to let this injustice continue? There is another way.
